Engelbrektskolan consists of two units from preschool to grade 9. In the 7-9 unit, there are about 350 students. The facilities for grades F-6 are adjacent to the facilities for 7-9, allowing younger and older students to meet naturally in shared spaces such as the cafeteria, auditorium, library, and gym.

The school has a clear focus on students' learning and high expectations for both students' abilities and staff's efforts to enable students to succeed. Teacher for grades 7-9, Swedish/Social Studies at Engelbrektskolan Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in Social Studies and Swedish. Mentorship is included in the role.

You are expected to develop your own teaching but also contribute to the development of the overall operations by participating in various development processes. You are part of both the work team and subject team, where you collectively are responsible for students' academic and social development.

You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Social Studies and/or Swedish for grades 7-9.

You are an engaged teacher who is skilled at building trustful and lasting relationships with your students. You are confident in your leadership and have the ability to lead and motivate students as well as create a safe and inclusive learning environment. You have good collaboration skills and a willingness and drive to work with the team to be responsible for students' academic and social development. You are motivated to develop methods and approaches that benefit all students.
